A high surf warning was issued and, therefore, the surfers were out in force. This image was captured in Oceanside, California. The surfer is in the tube or "in the green room" as they say. He has his right hand out in the wave of ocean water to slow his speed so that he remains in the right position for as long as possible.
In the early 1980's, I purchased a Canon SLR and have been an avid photographer since. My interests cover a wide range including landscape, nature, travel, wildlife and surfing photography. I am always searching for the next image. The joy of photography for me is this search and the discovery of an image and then, of course, capturing it in a pleasing way.
