This image was captured in Nova Scotia in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Wind gusts of 50 mph sent waves crashing into the shore. The wind coupled with the foggy conditions made for a very stormy looking scene. After taking a number of photos in the wind and rain, I finally realized that I could taste salt on my lips. What a glorious day!

In the early 1980's, I purchased a Canon SLR and have been an avid photographer since. My interests cover a wide range including landscape, nature, travel, wildlife and surfing photography. I am always searching for the next image. The joy of photography for me is this search and the discovery of an image and then, of course, capturing it in a pleasing way. While on this constant quest for the next image, sometimes I learn to see things in a different way. This is also part of the joy of photography.
