This image of a sign advertising a curio or souvenir shop was captured in Tucumcari, New Mexico. The business route there is on old Route 66 and still has many of the signs and motels associated with the 1950's and 60's.

In the early 1980's, I purchased a Canon SLR and have been an avid photographer since. My interests cover a wide range including landscape, nature, travel, wildlife and surfing photography. I am always searching for the next image. The joy of photography for me is this search and the discovery of an image and then, of course, capturing it in a pleasing way.
