This image was captured in Varenna,Italy just before sunset. Varenna is located on Lake Como. The setting sun accentuated the beautiful colors of the buildings in this scene.

In the early 1980's, I purchased a Canon SLR and have been an avid photographer since. My interests cover a wide range including landscape, nature, travel, wildlife and surfing photography. I am always searching for the next image. The joy of photography for me is this search and the discovery of an image and then, of course, capturing it in a pleasing way.
